Top Me Maybe?
Bookreview / August 30, 2015

Top Me Maybe is a book by Jay Northcote. It is a nice and sweet short story about hidden desires and asking for the things you want. It predates the book All Man that I read before, so some of the characters are the same. Both books can be read separately though. Tyler has a new boyfriend, Duncan. Duncan is cop and everything Tyler ever wanted. Tall, broad and very very manly. For the slightly feminine Tyler it is a match made in heaven. But Duncan has one secret desire he wants to discuss with Tyler, but is afraid to do so. So one night they start talking about sexual fantasies. What would you like to do or have done to you if it were possible? Duncan decides this is his chance to get his wish out in the open. Luckily for him, Tyler is very into his wish and only to happy to make it happen. It will take some work and getting used to, but in the end both men will be better because of it. A small excerpt from the story: “What do you want to talk about?” Tyler thought for a moment then answered, “Sexual fantasies.” They…

Aaron – Survivor Stories #1
Bookreview / August 29, 2015

Aaron is part 1 in the Survivor Stories series by J.P. Barnaby. The whole series is about people who had a hard life, but need to learn to get passed that and build a new life with someone else. A great starting point and very easily to get wrong. But J.P. Barnaby certainly did not get it wrong, it is spot on. In this first book we meet Aaron Downing. In the past he was kidnapped together with a friend and horribly abused and raped. As a result of that he still suffers from nightmares, flashbacks and constant fear. It is almost impossible for him to have a normal life, no matter how much he wants it. He feels he is a constant strain on the rest of his family which makes him feel very guilty. Forcing himself to lead a somewhat normal life, he signs up for college. But when he is assigned Spencer Thomas as a partner for some programming assignment, he starts to feel that maybe normal is beyond his grasp.  If only he could learn to control his fear, that would be enough for now. Not to mention his growing attraction to Spencer, but why would…

Unsaid – The Manhattanites #3
Bookreview / August 28, 2015

Unsaid is the latest addition to the Manhattanites series by Avery Aster. Set in the world of the rich and famous, even people who have everything you could ever dream of, still have the same problems you and I have. This is part 3 in the series, but it can be read as a stand alone novel. But if you do, it might take a little time to get into the story and the characters. Luckily, the book contains a list of names and places and a small description of who and what they are. That should make it a little easier. This book is the story of Blake Morgan III  and Miguel Santana. They have been friends for a long time, but Blake never knew Miguel had a major crush on him. Blake married another guy, only to see the marriage fail in a big way a few years later. Blake now feels damaged and vows to stay single forever. Together with friends and under the influence, he draws up a list of seven things he wants to do or have done to him. He calls it the list of 7 desires. Blake knows there is only 1 man…

Sixty Five Hours
Bookreview / August 25, 2015

Sixty Five Hours is a novel by N.R. Walker originally published as a fan fiction. It is now re written and published with a different cover than the original. Nothing has changed in the story, so it doesn’t matter which version you read. As with all N.R. Walker stories so far I loved this one. It was sweet, romantic and very easy to read. If you are looking for romance, this is the one for you. Some slight feet fetish and sock fetish, but not too much. Cameron Fletcher and Lucas Hensley both work for the same advertising agency, owned by Lucas’ father. One Friday afternoon he calls both men into his office and gives them sixty five hours to come up with the campaign of their lives, to lure in a new client. They will be working all weekend and very close together. The two men don’t seem to get along, but now they must find a way to work together, not kill each other and come up with a great plan. The campaign is for a condom brand, that also creates sextoys and other things to use in the bedroom. Cameron is an out and proud gay man,…
