A Wild Ride – The Bullriders #1
Bookreview / October 31, 2015

A Wild Ride is the first novel in the Bullriders series by Andrew Grey. This series focuses completely on cowboys and specifically those who do bullriding in the arena. A dangerous but very popular sport in certain parts of the United States. Dante Rivers is one of the most prominent bull riders. All he wants is to be number one, but so far he hasn’t managed that. In the latest rodeo he fell short two hundreds of a point and became number two. This leaves him frustrated and angry and he goes out looking for some way to release this anger. That is when he meets Ryan Abbott. There is definitely chemistry between them but after a night of passion Dante leaves Ryan alone in the middle of the night, afraid of complications. Back on the farm, Dante’s grandfather Hy hires someone to help him with sorting out some investments and old paperwork. Imagine Dantes surprise when the man he hires turns out to be Ryan. Dante thought he would never see Ryan again, but now that he is back, the passion between them is undeniable and still very much present as it was before. Slowly but surely things turn…

Bottled Up – Bottled Up #3
Bookreview / October 26, 2015

Bottled Up by Andrew Grey is part 3 in the Bottled Up series. I have not yet read other parts in the series so I couldn’t tell you what the central theme is, but this book does follow the classic Andrew Grey line. Two guys, some trouble and a HEA. Is it just me or is it getting predictable? Sean Bielecki is the owner of a winestore, which is starting to get off. One night he finds a homeless teenager in his back alley and decides to take the boy in. Bobby makes him feel parental feelings he never knew he had, but they are getting stronger every day. Officer Sam Davis has been watching Sean from a distance. He is attracted to Sean, but doesn’t know how to act on these feelings. It takes him a long time but finally Sam asks Sean out on a date and Sean accepts. They really seem to hit it off, but Sean is still haunted by his troubled passed and his somewhat crazy ex who doesn’t want to let go just yet. Then one day the guy who is after Bobby returns and everything comes to a big blow out. Everybody involved…

Tearing Us Apart
Blogtour , Bookteaser / October 21, 2015

Tearing Us Apart is the new novel by Amanda Clay and falls in the Young Adult section. I have not actually read the book but was asked to be part of the blog tour for the book. Therefore I cannot give an opinion about the book, but I do plan to read it in the future. Julian Pham is surviving high school. Openly gay, flamboyantly goth, and Vietnamese-American, he’s just about as different as his Oklahoma City high school can tolerate. He has good friends and a supportive family, which helps, but lately his family is changing and his friends have troubles of their own. Julian is afraid he’s being left behind. Then he meets Duncan. The star of the school basketball team, Duncan has never crossed Julian’s social path. A fateful encounter one cold night brings the two young men together, igniting a romance that neither of them expected, and that both can scarcely believe. But Julian and Duncan are in different places.  Julian is happily out, unconcerned with others’ opinions. And Duncan, while he knows who he is, isn’t ready to face the challenges of living out loud. Even as the two grow closer together, Julian begins to…
