No Quarter – Bounty #1
Blogtour , Bookteaser / April 29, 2016

No Quarter is the new novel by Christine d’Abo and the first part in the new Bounty series. Together with Riptide publishing she has been nice enough to visit the blog and tell us a little more about this new novel. I am quite confident that No Quarter will be a great novel and I am really looking forward to read it. Hello, my name is Christine d’Abo! Thank you so much for having me here on the blog today. I have been a big fan of all things science fiction since I was six. I started by watching reruns of the original Star Trek, moved on to watching (and re watching) Star Wars, and finally I was introduced to the world of Doctor Who. My world exploded, expanded and I loved it all. The idea of space operas, and how they focus on the people and their developments, rather than the science was what appealed even at that young an age. The adventure, the romance, good versus evil, showed me that there could be more to live that what existed in my tiny world. As I got older and my life experiences grew, I never lost that love of…

Prince of the Playhouse – Love in Laguna #3
Bookreview / April 28, 2016

Prince of the Playhouse is part 3 in the Love in Laguna series and I was so looking forward to this one. After reading part 1 and part 2, I fell in love with this series and I just need to read them all. And this third part made me fall in love all over again. Tara Lain is quickly becoming one of my auto buy authors and she hasn’t disappointed me yet. We met Ru Maitland in the earlier parts, but in this story he gets his own story. All he has ever wanted was to become the worlds greatest fashion designer and he might just get the chance when the local playhouse decides to perform a Shakespeare play with none other than Gray Anson in the lead. Anson has so far only done action movies, but he really wants to try his hand at something more serious. The director asks Ru to design the costumes for the play and because of Anson there will be a lot of attention. But it just happens that Ru has had a live long crush on the supposedly straight Anson and he would like nothing more than to work close to the…

Spencer Cohen, Book 3 – The Spencer Cohen Series #3
Bookreview / April 26, 2016

Spencer Cohen is the new series by N.R. Walker and with book 3, the series comes to an end. I received this part as an ARC and I am so glad I did. I loved part 1 and part 2 so I was quite sure I would love this last part as well. And yes I did. N.R. Walker already was one of my auto buy authors, but with the Spencer Cohen series she has made me fall in love with her novels all over again. I urge each and everyone of you to buy these novels, you will NOT be disappointed. As we already learned in the other parts Spencer and Andrew are now in a full on relationship. Spencer needs to learn to share his emotions and Andrew needs to learn to not overthink everything, but open up and let someone in. Both guys are working hard and things are looking up for both of them. But when Spencer receives a phone call from someone from his past, things might just change all over again. Spencer has to make some tough decisions and Andrew is sure that Spencer will push him out and run away. So will they be…

Signs of Life – Resilient Love #2
Bookreview / April 25, 2016

Signs of Life is part 2 in the Resilient Love series by Melanie Hansen and this one was also recommended to me by a friend of mine. And I loved it every bit as much as the first one, that I reviewed earlier right here. Signs of Life, just like the first one, deals with great loss, great love and deep emotions, all the ingredients for a perfect story. This one actually made me cry at some points, and that is usually a good sign. Jeremy Speer is everything you would ever want to be. A successful lawyer, happily married to the man of his dreams and living in a fantastic home. What more could anyone want in life? But one day something terrible happens and it leaves him shattered and completely ruined. Will he ever know happiness again? He completely withdraws from life and merely exists instead of fully living Kai Daniels is a high school teacher with his heart in the right place. He has a soft spot for troubled kids and will go out of his way to make them feel worthy of something. There was some trouble in his youth, but he managed to get through…

Rescue Me
Bookreview / April 24, 2016

Rescue Me is a wonderful, sweet and short story by S. Winters. To me it proves that anyone deserves a second chance no matter what you did wrong. Who knows, the greatest things might happen if you decide to give someone a second chance. I loved Rescue Me from the first to the last page. Max is working very hard running a shelter for animals who otherwise would be out on the street. It is very emotional work but he loves it very much. But as any shelter would they are always struggling for money and supplies and the every day routine usually is about begging money from wherever they can think of. However in his private life there isn’t so much emotion at all. Max prefers to be alone at home with his three dogs, they provide him with whatever he needs in life. So when a former one night stand comes walking through the door at the shelter. things are bound to be very interesting. Robert’s walks into the shelter looking for a dog for his daughter, but is confronted with the man he hooked up with once months ago. The only problem is he hasn’t been able…
