No Master – Bounty #3
Blogtour , Bookteaser / June 29, 2016

Christine D’abo and Riptide Publishing asked me to be a part of the blogtour for the No Master novel, part 3 in the Bounty series. I already participated in part 1 and 2, so the third one was very welcome. I already posted about it two days ago, but I guess there was room in the blogtour for a second time. No man in the galaxy inspires more fear than Korbin, the Admiral of the Black. His life as leader of the biggest pirate band in space leaves little room for trust, so when Korbin’s second-in-command disappears without a trace, he suspects the worst. Zain Strand has left his life as a sex slave behind and risen within the pirate ranks. But he abandons it all to rescue an old friend from recapture by the slavers—even if that means a suicidal confrontation with his old master. He doesn’t expect Korbin’s arrival, doesn’t want Korbin’s help . . . but Korbin gives Zain no choice. Posing as master and slave to infiltrate a slave auction, Korbin and Zain embark on a journey of lust that rapidly reveals their deeper feelings. When Zain’s old master discovers their ruse, Korbin must do everything…

Firewall
Bookreview / June 28, 2016

Firewall is the new novel by Sierra Riley and is another take on the whole nerd – bodyguard theme. I enjoyed the story very much and I think you will too. Justin West is one of the worlds most sought after IT specialists. He is a wizard when it comes to computers, but his love life not so much. Because he has Aspergers he finds it very difficult to relate to other people and it actually makes other people feel weird about him. They don’t know how to deal with him and often treat him like the enemy or someone they could never be friends with. But one day he is framed for a massive security breach at the firm he works at and now not only his job is at stake, but also his life. Calder Lesley is a bodyguard and very good at his work. He deals with all kind of celebrities all the time and makes a very good name for himself. He is also Justin’s best friend, so when he learns about his trouble. Calder immediately drops everything and wants to help Justin the best way possible. He has known about the way Justin feels about…

No Master – Bounty #3
Blogtour , Bookteaser / June 27, 2016

Hello, my name is Christine d’Abo! Thank you so much for having me here on the blog today. There’s something special about the last book in a series. In the case of my Bounty series, I wanted to explore a character that held more power than some of the previous characters. Korbin, the Admiral of the Black is the de facto leader of the space pirates; a dangerous man who is not to be trifled with. The only man to come close is Zain, the Admiral’s second in command and the one person who knows all of his secrets. Too bad for Korbin, Zain has more than a few secrets of his own. I loved playing with the master/slave dynamic with these two men. The power exchange in their professional lives becomes confused when they must take things to the next level. Zain’s past as a freed sex slave makes every interaction with Korbin painful when they are forced to pretend to be master and slave. It forces them to confront their feelings for one another, something they wouldn’t otherwise have done. Not to mention the sex. Did I mention the sex? Yeah…it’s pretty hot. I hope you enjoy the…

Blood & Milk
Blogtour , Bookreview / June 23, 2016

Blood & Milk is the latest novel by N.R. Walker and it deals with a kind of love you don’t see every day. Sometimes love can be found in the strangest places and with the strangest people, but that doesn’t make it any less any real. Heath Crowley is an Australian man, born with two different colored eyes. Losing his boyfriend in a hate crime makes him run far away from Australia and he ends up in Tanzania. Not knowing what he should do he walks in to a Maasai tribe and asks if he can stay. It takes a little time for the Maasai to warm up to him but they allow him to stay. As the only white man in the village he attracts a lot of attention. He quickly loses the name Heath and is now known as Ale. Damu has always been an outcast in his tribe. They never considered him a man so he was made to women work. But when Heath Crowley entered his village, Damu learned that his feelings are not bad and that he too deserves to be loved. Practice Makes Perfect – Housemates #3
Blogtour , Bookreview / June 22, 2016

Practice Makes Perfect is the third part in the Housemates series by Jay Northcote. After I read part 1 and part 2 I just knew I had to read part 3 also. And Jay was kind enough to grant me an ARC and I read it with great pleasure. As you all know Jay Northcote has been and always will be one of my all time favorite authors and she has never let me down. I read the whole thing in a few hours and it made me smile all the way through. Dev is a geeky first year student with zero sexual experience and very little experience with other people. After a bad episode in his previous house he has moved to a new house where people are more accepting and nice to him. He is determined to make his life better and therefore creates a list of things he wants to do soon. They include finding a boyfriend and getting more sexual experience. But how do you do that? Ewan lives next door to Dev. He has made his mind up and wants to stay single for the time being. He is struggling with his math and when Dev…

Boy Banned
Bookreview / June 18, 2016

Boy Banned is the new novel by R.J. Scott. I already participated in the blog tour, and I knew then I just had to read this one. And now that I finally did, I think a review is in order. The story starts at the finals of Sing UK, a fictional contest on TV, searching for the greatest talents in a contest on TV. Thin Idols, Britain’s Got Talent and you got the idea. Reuben “Angel” Jacobs is in the finals of the show, loosing this one will mean he has to return to the family business and be a good little boy. Everything he doesn’t want to be. Corey Dixon is a rocker and also “on the spectrum” as they call it. It means he has a lot of trouble to do things we all think are normal and he has a lot of trouble dealing with every day life. Both boys manage to mess up their auditions and are sent home, but in the last moment the judges save them. If they are willing to participate in a boy band they might just make a chance. So Reuben, Corey and three other boys are put together and need…
