A Restored Man – The Men of Halfway House #3

September 20, 2015

24449015A Restored Man is part 3 in the Men of Halfway House series and once again I find this part better than the previous ones. Part 1 was good, part 2 was great, but part 3 is so far the best of all.

By now we know the setting these stories play in, so I will not go in to that anymore. Suffice to say that Cole Renzo, who we briefly met in part 2, is doing his time in the Halfway House and trying to stay on the right path.

As part of his time in the House, he needs to hold down a job. He finds a job in a car repair shop and his new boss Ty Calloway very much peeks his interest.

Ty Calloway owns and runs a very high in demand shop and he thought he had his life together. Until that one night when everything changed and he lost all that he held dear. Now, 2 years later, he is slowly rebuilding his life and getting things together. That is, until his new employee Cole awakens feelings he hasn’t had in a long time.

Will both men be able to work through their problems and fears? It is only when an old enemy from the past resurfaces that Cole is really determined to make Ty see what he really thinks of him and how far he is willing to go to protect what is his.

There really is something about this series that makes it all work. Putting two men together in the most unlikely situation of them all and still making it work is a true great thing. And Jaime Reese somehow makes it work and very believable.

Cole sounds like a true sweetheart and I really like his unfiltered personality. He just says whatever he thinks without holding back and even in real life I really like people that do that. And Ty made me emotional at times. I could so relate to all his feelings and problems, I was rooting for him to get what he wanted and finally feel like he truly deserved it all.

According to Jaime Reeses website there will be at least two more parts in this series, so I am looking out for those. If everything holds up they will be even better than all parts before that. I am really starting to love these books…..

You can find Jaime Reese’s personal website here and this book is for sale at Amazon and Barnes & Noble
