More Than Words – More than Anything #2
Bookreview / August 12, 2016

More Than Words is the latest addition to the More than Anything series by T.T. Kove. After reading part 1 I knew this second part had to be good and I was not disappointed at all. I loved it all the way and read it with great pleasure. Alex had a rough life and he just can’t take it anymore. He has no friends, nothing to live for and nobody will miss him when he is gone. So one day he decides it might be for the best if he clears out his locker, get out of school and just put and end to it all. But then some jerk crashes into him and sends all his belongings scattering across the floor. The misery never seems to end for Alex. All of a sudden someone kneels down beside him and helps him gathering his stuff together again. Alex is surprised to see Andreas, best friend with the guy who has been bullying Alex the worst of all. Why would a guy like Andreas help Alex? What does he want from him? Delicious is the new novel by Sierra Riley and is all about dealing with small town fears and prejudice and making the best of your own life. In the end, we all have to decide for ourselves what we want and who we want it with. Gavin Campbell has build his own bakery from the ground up and that is something that makes him very proud. He really needs a sense of security, something he has been lacking in his childhood very much. He only has a small circle of friends and he works almost round the clock, so there is not much room in his life for anything else. He is convinced there is nothing missing in his life. Ben Edwards has been working for the family bank all his life. Everybody likes him, even all his ex girlfriends. All he ever did was some casual dating, there has been no woman who ever inspired him into more. The Foundation – Behind Closed Doors #1
Bookreview / August 10, 2016

The Foundation is a novel by Diana McKinley and deals with subjects like physical abuse and a rough childhood. Not an easy subject for most people, but Diana pulls it of very nice and makes for a very good and entertaining story. I enjoyed it very much and can’t wait to read more. Benjamin Alcott made it through high school with only one thing on his mind, getting away from his home. Life at home has been very rough and the environment is not a loving one. Ben made it to the top of his class and has secured enough scholarships to make sure his future is financially secured and he can pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Cord Robinson is a few years older than Benjamin but has always been interested in the young man. Not only because he is his best friends brother, but Cord wants there to be more between Benjamin and himself. But he waited until Ben was old enough and could decide for himself what he wants. And now the time has come to make his intentions clear to Ben and see if there is more in the future. But then the violence in…

Jerkbait
Bookreview / July 30, 2016

Jerkbait by Mia Siegert is one of those books that seems to be all the rage for a few days and than just fade away in the background again. All of a sudden this book is inescapable, you seem to see it everywhere. So than I decide to read it because it must be really good when everyone is talking about it. And then it just isn’t…. I mean it is not bad, but I certainly don’t understand the hype about it. What makes this book so very special? This book would fall in the YA category I guess, since it seems to be dealing with high school kids. Tristan and Robbie are identical twins, but they don’t seem to be sharing all that much. Tristan is the shy one, Robbie is the outgoing and popular one. So when Robbie tries to kill himself and fails everyone is in shock. Why would he do such a thing when there seems to be no reason for it. Because someone needs to keep an eye on Robbie their parents force them to share a room together and that causes all kinds of problems. Neither boy has any privacy left and Tristan is…

Just One Night
Bookreview / July 29, 2016

Just One Night is a wonderful story by Sebastian Carter, a story full of love and romance and I loved it so. It shows me that nothing is more important in this world than having close friends who look out for you and only want the best for you. Theo Cooper desperately wants to find his place in life, but that seems to be much harder than he ever thought possible. His father is a homophobe and his ex was constantly sleeping around on him. Walking in on his ex in bed together with the latest conquest was all he needed to end it for good. So what to do now? He needs money to get a place of his own, but where does he find money? Luckily his best friend Brianna knows what to do…. Elliot James is a sweet man, but painfully shy and socially awkward. Of course this is seriously standing in the way of him ever meeting a nice man. His best friend and boss Brianna LaFontaine is so far the only one he had the courage to come out to. She really wants to help him find a man and tries pushing him out of…
