A Family of his Own is part 2 in the Mannies Incorporated Series by Sean…
Finding Julien is the first book in the new Love in Secret series by Genevieve Wolfe. As far as I know this is the first book I read from this author, but if they are all like this, I will be wanting more. The story is sweet, romantic, breath taking and just very good written. I loved it so much !!
Julien is the youngest son of a British aristocrat and just turned 21. He has enrolled in a college in Boston looking to get as far away from his family as possible. They will never accept that he is gay and so he needs to get some distance from them to find himself.
Darius is a college student, working as a bartender in his uncles club. He is completely focused on work and school. He doesn’t want to let anyone in his heart, because he knows it will end up hurting him again. And he will do anything to prevent that from happening.
But then Julien walks in to the club with some friends, celebrating his 21st birthday. The attraction between them is fast and instant, but will they be able to make it work? The constant threat of Juliens family and Darius’ insecurity is putting a strain on their relation and they must fight to get over that. For the moment they decide to keep their relation a secret while they are working out what it means to be together.
The secret is threatened when all of a sudden Juliens brother decides to visit and wants to spend some time with his younger brother. They have never been the best of friends, but Julien can hardly say no to his brother. And to top it all of, father decides to come and visit also. What will happen now?
Reasons this book is so good? Characters are very well written, story is easy enough to read and I could so relate to the two boys and the tension on their love. Nothing is worse than homophobic family keeping you away from the one you love.
Genevieve Wolfe has no personal page as yet. This story is for sale at Amazon.
