Operation Green Card
Blogtour , Bookteaser / December 14, 2017

About Operation Green Card Arkady Izmaylov is a family man. He’s also gay. In Russia. His sister Natalya has been telling him to get out for years, but it’s only after an attack in the street that he finally concedes and says yes to her desperate plan of him marrying a stranger for a green card. Jason Cooley was taught from birth that he’s no good to anyone. Then the military taught him he was good enough to save other lives, but that purpose got amputated along with his leg. He’s now working security at Wolf’s Landing and sending monthly checks to his ex for their daughter’s education. When Natalya asks him to marry her brother, Jason knows right away he’ll do it more for the mission than the money she’s offering. But when he actually meets Arkady, his mission turns complicated. Jason quickly discovers he’s not as straight as he thought. He’s also the man of Arkady’s dreams. Arkady must convince Jason that he’s worth loving, and that Arkady won’t disappear from his life like everyone else. Because Arkady has always wanted a family of his own, and he’s not letting go of this one. Available now from Riptide…

Freckles
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 16, 2016

About Freckles Carter Embree has always hoped to be rescued from his productive, tragically boring, and (slightly) ethically compromised life. But when an urchin at a grocery store shoves a bundle of fluff into his hands, Carter goes from rescuee to rescuer—and he needs a little help. Sandy Corrigan, the vet tech who helps ease Carter into the world of dog ownership, first assumes that Carter is a crazy-pants client who just needs to relax. But as Sandy gets a glimpse into the funny, kind, sexy man under Carter’s mild-mannered exterior, he sees that with a little care and feeding, Carter might be Super-Pet Owner—and decent boyfriend material to boot. But Carter needs to see himself as a hero first. As he says good-bye to his pristine house and hello to carpet treatments and dog walkers, he finds that there really is more to himself than a researching drudge without a backbone. A Carter Embree can rate a Sandy Corrigan. He can be supportive, he can be a hero, he can be a man who stands up for his principles! He can be the owner of a small dog. Now available from Riptide Publishing. http://riptidepublishing.com/titles/freckles About Amy Lane Amy Lane exists happily…

Selfie – Bluewater Bay #13
Bookreview / May 23, 2016

Selfie is the latest novel by Amy Lane and also the latest addition to the Bluewater Bay series. A whole range of different stories, but all playing in the fictional town of Bluewater Bay, somewhere in a beautiful part of the USA. If I ever am able to find out where this place is, I really want to go there. Earlier on I already participated in the blogtour for this novel, but shortly after that I actually read the story and fell in love even more. Connor Montgomery is an actor with one very big secret. He is gay and has been in a relationship with another man for a long time. But too the outside world they are just very close friends and nothing more. But when his partner is killed by a drunk driver there is no one he can turn to with his grief and sorrow. A lifetime of secrets and lies will get you that. So a year after Vinnie died, Connor tapes a drunken confession and posts it on Youtube. Fortunately it is a silent movie, but it is enough to get all the rumors flying again. Connor wants a new start and when he…

Selfie
Blogtour , Bookteaser / April 21, 2016

Selfie is a wonderful novel written by the equally wonderful Amy Lane. With Selfie she has added one more book to the Bluewater Bay universe and as we all know I absolutely love all of these books. So the more the better I would say. I urge you all to buy Selfie and enjoy it as much as I know I will. For the Selfie blog tour, Amy Lane has written a few monologues from Vinnie’s video blog, set prior to the crash that takes his life. These monologues, performed by Nick J. Russo of Dark Night Sound, correspond to scenes or memories reference by Connor in Selfie, giving you a unique look at this off-screen character. Please visit http://riptidepublishing.com/titles/selfie and select the extras tab for all six monologues, which will be updated there as they are published. Enjoying Bluewater Bay? All Bluewater Bay titles are being produced in audio, starting with Starstruck, written by L.A. Witt and narrated by Nick J. Russo, coming soon! About Selfie One year ago, actor Connor Montgomery lost the love of his life to a drunk driver. But what’s worse for Connor is what he still has: a lifetime of secrets born of hiding his relationship from the…

Phonebook
Bookreview / April 2, 2016

Phonebook is one of those books that makes you wonder once you read it “Why would anyone write this, let alone buy it and read it?” It is basically a story about two guys in love who cannot be together for some reason and engage in phone sex. I have no personal experience with phone sex, but I cannot imagine it would be any fun at all. Although I guess for some people that might be different. Phonebook is written by Amy Lane who I normally like very much. I know she can do better than this. The story was first published in 2010 and has now been re-released with a different cover. Ryan is away on business and all he can do is talk on the phone with his lover Scott. Scott is some what more playful but Ryan is to conservative to engage in phone sex and enjoy it. He is not able to relax enough to make it fun. But luckily his lover thought ahead and made sure he had all the necessary things to be able to get what he wants when on the phone together. The story is only 32 pages long so you will…

Super Sock Man – Johnnies #0.5
Bookreview / August 23, 2015

Super Sock Man is a story by Amy Lane, originally written for the M-M Romance Group on Goodreads, and now published as a separate story. It could be considered part of the Johnnies series, because at least one of the characters will go on to have his own story in the Johnnies series. But it can also be read as a separate story. Donnie has a major crush on Alejandro, his sisters roommate, but he has never acted on it. He is pretty sure Alejandro will think him too young or never consider dating his roommates brother. So he just crushes from a distance and has to learn to live with unrequited love. But then his sister and Alejandro have to go away for a while and they ask Donnie to house sit their apartment. And of course Donnie says yes, finally able to spend some time closer to the person he is lusting after, or at least near his personal things. As soon as he is alone Donnie enters Alejandro’s room and starts going through his stuff. Of course there is also a lot of masturbating involved. Soon Donnie finds some very pretty knitted socks and decides to put…
