Edge: A BDSM Romance
Bookreview / August 26, 2018

Well, as we all know, to keep the life of a book blogger interesting you have to try out a new thing every now and then. And let me tell you, this time I did. I was contacted by Drew Lennox, the author of this book. He wanted to know if I would be willing to read and review his latest novel Edge. It is all about a starting BDSM relation and the MC’s are a man and a woman. Both are not my usual thing, but because of the personal request I decided to take on the book and read it. So I received this book directly from the author and started reading it. I was prepared for a story different from what I would normally read, and I was not disappointed. Charlie is a young woman, recently single and enjoying life to the fullest. She is not really looking for a new man, but when she comes in contact with Xander, that might change. Xander is an author and one of Charlies friends is a great fan. Charlie meets Xander through this friend and pretty soon strikes up a relation with Xander. All seems to be going very…

Unsaid – The Manhattanites #3
Bookreview / August 28, 2015

Unsaid is the latest addition to the Manhattanites series by Avery Aster. Set in the world of the rich and famous, even people who have everything you could ever dream of, still have the same problems you and I have. This is part 3 in the series, but it can be read as a stand alone novel. But if you do, it might take a little time to get into the story and the characters. Luckily, the book contains a list of names and places and a small description of who and what they are. That should make it a little easier. This book is the story of Blake Morgan III  and Miguel Santana. They have been friends for a long time, but Blake never knew Miguel had a major crush on him. Blake married another guy, only to see the marriage fail in a big way a few years later. Blake now feels damaged and vows to stay single forever. Together with friends and under the influence, he draws up a list of seven things he wants to do or have done to him. He calls it the list of 7 desires. Blake knows there is only 1 man…

Fire & Ice: A Guns & Hoses Novel
Bookreview / June 16, 2015

Fire & Ice is a novel by Brenda Cothern and is very much about BDSM and things like that. BDSM has never done much for me, but I was asked by the author to review this book and so I will of course. Lukas Wolf is an arson investigator and really really wants to work alone. He doesn’t need a partner, doesn’t want a partner. Unfortunately his boss thinks otherwise and puts him together with Austin Kinsley. Lukas thinks Austin is a young and eager graduate and he really doesn’t need that. Austin moved to Tampa Bay to reconnect with his cousin Thomas Flame. He applied for the arson investigator job because it would be his dream job and he would do anything to get it. But getting the job is the easy part, now he has to learn to work with his new partner Wolf. And Austin has a secret, a secret he doesn’t tell anyone about. He has a secret craving for pain, the more the better. And he needs a partner who understands that, and who doesn’t stop at the first sign of pain. He finds a release for his cravings in a certain bar, where he…
