Flesh Market – Blogtour
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 10, 2015

Flesh Market is the sizzling new novel by Kate Lowell, part 1 in the new Bodies and Souls series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time…… Special Agent Leo Gale is up a creek. A year and a half of deep cover is about to go up in flames. He needs help – something, someone to salvage the operation and save the lives of untold numbers of trafficked teenagers.

But he isn’t expecting the partner they send, or his own gut-punch of a response to the man. Julian worked hard for that FBI Honors Internship. It’s supposed to be a foot in the door. He’d never expected it to catapult him into the middle of a major undercover operation. Yet here he is, sleeping on a filthy mattress and using every trick in the book to avoid torture–and worse. He’s never felt so scared, or so alive, in his entire life, and he’s not sure if it’s the danger, or Leo, that’s making his heart race. There’s no time to think about it, though. The operation is heating up, and Leo and Julian are running out of time and options. They must find a…

How We Began – The Inspiration
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 9, 2015

How We Began is an anthology with a special meaning. It tells us that love can start in many ways, no matter who you are, where you are or even what you are. The world is full of stories. We watch them in theaters and read them in books. We tell them to our children and hear them at the office. Short stories in three-second sound bites. (Our team won the game last night!) Long, drawn-out stories that are shared over the course of many months. (Did you guys catch the 724th episode of Zombie Valley Girl Meth Head last night?) And then there are the stories we write ourselves, a little more every day. Stories entertain us. Stories teach us. They give us choices. They open us up to the humanity in one another and in ourselves. So what would it be like if you never heard or read a story in which you recognized yourself? Or if you found a glint of familiarity in a newscast or anecdote, only to have the tale end horribly, tragically…no happily ever after for you? How We Began is a book for those people. More specifically, it’s a book for LGBTQ+ young…

A Fortunate Blizzard – Blogtour
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 4, 2015

Blurb A Fortunate Blizzard There are worse things than being stranded in a blizzard. Artist Trevor Morrison has always appreciated the little things in life, treating each day as a gift. And with good reason: he’s been on the transplant-recipient list for too long now. When he learns just how numbered his days truly are, he resolves not to take them for granted. But he won’t be unrealistic, either—which means romantic commitments are off the table. Marcus Roberts seems to have it all. He’s handsome, financially sound, and on the fast track to partnership at a prestigious law firm. In reality, though, his drive for success has meant no time for friends or relationships. Add in the fact that his family discarded him long ago, and he’s facing yet another holiday season alone. When the biggest snowstorm to hit Colorado in decades leaves Marc and Trevor stranded at the same hotel, a chance encounter and a night of passion leads to more than either of them expected. Finding comfort in each other is a welcome surprise, but time is not on their side. Either they find a way to beat the odds, or they lose each other forever. Author Bio…

We have another cover reveal for you today, this time by best selling author J.C. Valentine. Her new book: S.O.B. The book can be pre ordered at Amazon and Amazon UK. Synopsis: Levi Black is an s.o.b. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he’s a pretentious, obnoxious, womanizing jacka** who thinks the world revolves around him. He wouldn’t be wrong. A famous soccer player, his skills on and off the field have won him medals, trophies, women, and the cover of every heartthrob magazine in the country. He’s broken nearly every bone in his body and a few hearts along the way, including mine—his stepsister—and lived to tell about it. One night changed everything, and I’ve avoided him like the plague ever since. Just long enough to finish college, to bury the hurt, and to outrun the memories. But now that’s all changed. I’m back, and there’s no more running. My hands are supposed to be my livelihood, but now they’re my curse. Levi’s…

Tearing Us Apart
Blogtour , Bookteaser / October 21, 2015

Tearing Us Apart is the new novel by Amanda Clay and falls in the Young Adult section. I have not actually read the book but was asked to be part of the blog tour for the book. Therefore I cannot give an opinion about the book, but I do plan to read it in the future. Julian Pham is surviving high school. Openly gay, flamboyantly goth, and Vietnamese-American, he’s just about as different as his Oklahoma City high school can tolerate. He has good friends and a supportive family, which helps, but lately his family is changing and his friends have troubles of their own. Julian is afraid he’s being left behind. Then he meets Duncan. The star of the school basketball team, Duncan has never crossed Julian’s social path. A fateful encounter one cold night brings the two young men together, igniting a romance that neither of them expected, and that both can scarcely believe. But Julian and Duncan are in different places.  Julian is happily out, unconcerned with others’ opinions. And Duncan, while he knows who he is, isn’t ready to face the challenges of living out loud. Even as the two grow closer together, Julian begins to…
