Spot Me – Work Out #1
Bookreview / October 19, 2015

Spot Me is the first novel in the Work Out series by Andrew Grey and is, as the title suggests, all about sports and professional athletes. Not my kind of thing normally, but this story wasn’t that bad. Dan and his best friend Lonnie work out every day. They need it as a release after a long day in the office and they are very keen on their bodies and looking good. Eating healthy is almost second nature to both men. Dan is just recovering from a bad break up with his last boyfriend and really isn’t looking for anyone new. But then he sees Gene, a professional bodybuilder and with a body to die for. Dan knows it will never happen. He is close to 40 years old and recovering from a broken heart, what would someone like Gene want with him? The very next day Gene comes up to Dan and asks him if they can work out together. He gladly accepts and they easily fall in to a routine together. Somewhere along the way they make a bad and that wins Dan a drink and some conversation after the work out. One thing leads to another and…

Bookreview / July 29, 2015

His True Nature is the latest story by Silvia Violet. It is only 38 pages long, so not long enough for a full novel but it provides for a nice read. Om his thirtieth birthday, Dan decides the time has come for him to come out. He tells his family that he is gay. Expecting acceptance, but that is not what he is getting. The family rejects him and openly insults him. His need to get away from them is growing stronger and he decides on a whim to buy a camper and go out into the woods for a while. The plan is to spend his holiday fishing, hiking and camping but he soon learns he has no clue what he is doing out there. How is he going to survive one day, let alone three months? He fears his trip is going to get cut short real fast. But in the most desperate moment Parker arrives on the scene, the local forest ranger. The Little Things
Bookreview / February 8, 2015

The Little Things is a book that really sucked me in when I read it. The story is somewhat different from what you would expect, but from the start it takes you in and demand that you finish it. I really enjoyed it. Joel is a gay man, who got very drunk one night and spend the night with a woman. From that one night, Evie was born, his very own little girl that he would do anything for. Luckily the girls mother and Joel get along great and they share custody of Evie. Joel’s boyfriend Dan completes the picture and makes Joel feel very happy in his life. Then one night something terrible happens and Joel is forced to become a full time father to Evie. Dan decides he never signed up for this and they break up. But then in a night of despair Joel meets Liam, a nurse in the local hospital and a very nice guy. Slowly Joel starts to see there is room for other people in his life, even though he really has to take care of Evie. She is number 1 on his list always. Liam makes no secret of his attraction to…
