Foxglove Copse
Blogtour , Bookteaser / September 5, 2017

About Foxglove Copse After a massive anxiety attack, Sam Atkins left his high-powered job in the City and committed himself to life on the road in a small van. Six months in, he’s running out of savings and coming to the conclusion that he might have to go home to his emotionally abusive family. Needing time to think, he takes a walk through a copse by the Cornish roadside, only to stumble upon the body of a ritualistically killed sheep. As he’s trying to work out what the symbols around the animal mean, the sheep’s owner, Jennifer, and her nephew, Ruan Gwynn, come upon him. Ruan is a kind-hearted young man with a large supportive clan, and since he and Sam feel almost instant attraction, he doesn’t want to believe Sam is a sheep-killing cultist. In fact, the moment he lays eyes on Sam’s miserable solitary life, he wants to rescue the man. But as the killings escalate, he and Sam need to stop whoever is actually to blame before they can concentrate on saving each other. His Royal Favorite – His Royal Secret #2
Bookreview / August 9, 2017

As promised when I talked about part 1 I also read part 2 in the series and I will tell you all about it today. Let me start of by telling that part 2 in the series was quite good, but in some ways it left me wanting more and with unanswered questions. When we left part 1 James was about to come out to the public eye and telling the world he is a gay man and deeply in love with Benjamin. But when he reveals that to the world, it will also mean exposing Benjamin as his partner. Is Benjamin truly ready for being the partner of the next in line for the throne. He will never have a moment of peace or privacy anymore and the press will be hunting him wherever he goes. And will he be able to keep working as a reporter or not? So when the news finally breaks all over the world, the deep dark secrets from the past will also be brought out to light. And some of those things where never meant to come out again. Will James be able to deal with Benjamins past or not? Will their love be…

His Royal Secret – His Royal Secret #1
Bookreview / August 7, 2017

Imagine a world where the crown prince of England is gay and desperately seeking for someone to fill the gap in his life. Always in the publics eye he is used to keeping up appearances. But being gay is the biggest secret of them all, and apart from a few people nobody knows about it. As far as the people go, James is straight and next in line for the throne of England. Lady Cassandra is his best friend and has always acted as his beard, pretending to be his girlfriend when needed and causing distraction when wanted. So far the deception has worked. James really wants to come out, but he knows he can’t. Because when he does, he will be removed from the line and the throne will fall to his sister Amelia. But Amelia has problems of her own and is in no way fit for the position. For her, James will keep the secret forever if he has to. Spun!
Blogtour , Bookteaser / July 7, 2017

Hi, I’m JL Merrow, and I’m delighted to be here today as part of the blog tour to celebrate the release of Spun!, the fourth of my contemporary MM romantic comedies in the Shamwell Tales series. About Spun! With friends like these . . . An ill-advised encounter at the office party leaves David Greenlake jobless and homeless in one heady weekend. But he quickly begs work from his ex-boss and takes a room in Shamwell with easygoing postman Rory Deamer. David doesn’t mean to flirt with the recently divorced Rory—just like he doesn’t consciously decide to breathe. After all, Rory’s far too nice for him. And far too straight. Rory finds his new lodger surprisingly fun to be with, and what’s more, David is a hit with Rory’s troubled children. But while Rory’s world may have turned upside down in the last few years, there’s one thing he’s sure of: he’s straight as a die. So he can’t be falling for David . . . can he? Their friends and family think they know all the answers, and David’s office party hookup has his own plans for romance. Rory and David need to make up their minds and take…

Imperfect Harmony
Blogtour , Bookreview , Bookteaser / April 16, 2016

Imperfect Harmony is the latest novel by Jay Northcote, one of my auto buy authors. I think I have read just about everything she has published so far and without fail I loved each and every one of them. There is something about her characters and stories that just clicks with me and makes me fall in love with the stories and the characters every single time. And for this one I was lucky enough to be asked by Jay personally if I wanted to read and review this book. Of course I gladly accepted. I read the whole book in a day or so and once again I was confirmed in my love for Northcote stories. There is nothing imperfect about this one, it is once again a great story that made me fall in love instantly. Go out and buy it because it is perfect !!! Blurb  Imperfect harmony can still be beautiful… John Fletcher, a former musician, is stuck in limbo after losing his long-term partner two years ago. He’s shut himself off from everything that reminds him of what he’s lost. When his neighbor persuades him to join the local community choir, John rediscovers his love…

Nothing Special
Bookreview / February 6, 2015

Nothing Special is so far the latest edition to the Nothing…  series by Jay Northcote.  So far this is my favorite one. In this story we meet Noah, an ordinary guy who works in a bookstore and has a major crush on a guy he sees every day in the subway. He doesn’t know anything about the guy, but he looks forward to meeting him every day. But how to get in touch with his dream man? Then a friend of Noah convinces him to do something very brave and he gets to talk to Sol, his dream guy. They hit it off straight away and want to try and make the record for the worlds longest first date. But still somewhere in the back of his mind, Noah thinks he is not good enough for Sol. Surely Sol could have anyone he wants. Will they stay together and will Noah deal with his fears? I really really hope Jay writes more books in this series, because I really like the stories. Guys who don’t think they are good enough, but learn to deal with fears in the best way possible. I really don’t like stories that are all about…
