The Story of Jax and Dylan
Bookreview / July 28, 2016

The Story of Jax and Dylan is the new novel by Jamie Dean and plays out on the age old theme of best friends who fall in love, don’t know what to do with it and run away from each other until by chance they meet again years later and everything turns out to be just great and they have their HEA. This one is no different, but I liked it anyway. Dylan and Jax have known each other forever and have been best friends for as long as they can remember. But growing up Dylan starts having different feelings for Jax, feelings he knows he should not be having for his best friend. And the night before senior prom Dylan kisses Jax and hopes for the best. But Jax turns him down and runs. Dylan moves out of town before they get a chance to talk about and so Dylan spends over 10 years thinking Jax hates him for that kiss. After all those years Dylan comes across Jax on Facebook and accidently sends him a friend request. To his surprise Jax accepts the request and they start talking again. At first about old friends and memories, but quickly…

Come What May – All Saints #1
Bookreview / July 13, 2016

Come What May by A.M. Arthur is the first part in the All Saints series and if the rest of the series is just as good as this one, I will love it for sure. I discovered this book by accident, but I am so glad I did. Once I started reading it I just could not stop ! Jonas Ashcroft is a carefree fratboy, carefree living his life. Until he meets Tate. Tate makes him feel things he has never felt before, but Tate is also a guy. And there is just no way in the world that Jonas is gay. He drowns himself in girls and bottles, but it becomes more and more evident he just cant hide who he really is. Tate on the other hand never made a problem about who he is and what he wants. And what he wants is Jonas. And once Tate makes up his mind there is nothing that will keep him from it. Tate takes Jonas on a journey into a world he has never known before. A world that makes it more and more clear he needs to accept who he is and what he is. But when his…

Sometimes Love Lasts
Bookreview / July 6, 2016

Sometimes Love Lasts is the new novel by Jake Wells. It deals with matters of homophobia, secret crushes and maybe finding out that love really does last longer than you might think. I found the story to be sweet and very romantic. It kind of plays of on the jock-nerd theme and we all know how much I love that…. Rone Forrester is a high school student, doing all the things he is supposed to be doing. He is intelligent, good looking and athletic, but still happiness seems to elude him every time. And because life is never easy Rone starts developing romantic feelings for his best friend Carson Harrington. Rone really wants to be a doctor and he is determined to make that happen. So when a little accident forces him to come out, his homophobic father and general shame make Rone run away and leave everything behind. Not Just Passing Through
Bookreview / May 27, 2016

Not Just Passing Through is a novel by Jamie Dean. As far as I know I never read anything by this author, but I liked this story. Its not special in any way, but provides for entertainment for a few hours. Avery Malcolm is a closeted virgin, living with his aunt in New Mexico. They run a small motel together, but Avery has bigger dreams. He wants to leave this town, find love and be happy. But how will he ever make that happen? Outside of his job at the motel, he doesn’t really do anything. So where should he meet other people, let alone the guy of his dreams? One night Chase Lancaster rides up to the motel with his sexy black motorcycle. Immediately he catches Avery’s eye, although he seems to be looking only at the women in town. Will Avery have a chance with Chase? Chase doesn’t seem to mind Avery looking at him, in fact he likes the attention and stimulates Avery in it. It seems there is so much more to Chase than meets the eye and Avery quickly falls for the guy head over heels. But what will happen when Chase will leave town…
