Practice Makes Perfect – Housemates #3
Blogtour , Bookreview / June 22, 2016

Practice Makes Perfect is the third part in the Housemates series by Jay Northcote. After I read part 1 and part 2 I just knew I had to read part 3 also. And Jay was kind enough to grant me an ARC and I read it with great pleasure. As you all know Jay Northcote has been and always will be one of my all time favorite authors and she has never let me down. I read the whole thing in a few hours and it made me smile all the way through. Dev is a geeky first year student with zero sexual experience and very little experience with other people. After a bad episode in his previous house he has moved to a new house where people are more accepting and nice to him. He is determined to make his life better and therefore creates a list of things he wants to do soon. They include finding a boyfriend and getting more sexual experience. But how do you do that? Ewan lives next door to Dev. He has made his mind up and wants to stay single for the time being. He is struggling with his math and when Dev…

My Roommate’s a Jock? Well, Crap! – Jock #1
Bookreview / January 26, 2016

My Roommate’s a Jock? Well, Crap! is the first part in the new Jock series by Wade Kelly. Now I for one absolutely love the whole jock-nerd theme and so I was anxious to read this book. And I wasn’t disappointed at all, I loved this book. I can only hope the other parts will be just as great as this one. Cole Reid is gay and was publicly outed by his high school baseball team. Because of that he really really hates jocks of any kind and has become somewhat of a loner. He wants things to go his way and is somewhat of a neat freak. So when his roommate moves out to be with his girlfriend Cole is looking for a new roommate, but one that will live up to his expectations and rules. And absolutely no jocks allowed. So what does the manager send him as a replacement? Ellis Montgomery is messy, gorgeous, of course straight, and to top it all of a jock of the worst kind. So when he shows up at Coles door, accompanied by  some of his loud friends, Cole is about to have a heart attack. But a whole school year…

Beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts
Bookreview / September 26, 2015

Beware of Geeks Bearing Gifts is a short story by Charlie Cochet and I have to tell you it is by far one of the sweetest and cutest things I have read lately. It made me smile while reading it and that is always a good sign. Julian “Quinn” Quintero is a tough and beefy Miami police officer who has been wounded on the job and forced to stay home and recover for a while. All he wants is a little peace and quiet, quite hard when his family is constantly all over him. One night he sleeps through a medicine delivery, which puts him in contact with his geeky neighbor Spencer Morgan. Spencer has had a crush on Quinn for as long as he can remember, but he never thought anything would happen. But now he has a chance and he decides to take care of Quinn. Slowly but surely he works his way into Quinn’s heart and his life. He has to make Quinn see there is no chance he will ever be without him again. I really do have a thing for geeky guys falling for the person they think they can never have. And this one…
