Arctic Fire
Bookreview / November 29, 2016

Imagine finding love in the least likely place you can think of, the cold of the Arctic. What are the chances of meeting the man of your dreams in a place like that. For our two MC’s that is just what happens. Captain Jack Turner has fought a long war in Afghanistan and lost something very dear to him. Still hunted by the past, he is now stuck behind his desk desperate to get out in the field again. So when his boss asks him to go to the Arctic, he doesn’t have to think about it very long. But as soon as he gets there he manages to loose it with the Canadian Ranger that will be his guide, Kin Carsen. Jack would rather be anywhere else then in a small tent with Kin, but that is where he will be for the time being. Kin has lived in the Arctic all his life and he doesn’t want to be anywhere else, but living openly as a gay man in there is a bit difficult. He loves being a Ranger but he is on strange ground with Jack. And when they get stranded in a blizzard, both men start…

Beyond the Sea
Bookreview / April 4, 2016

Beyond the Sea is the new book by Keira Andrews, and as we all know I love Keira Andrews, especially for her series about the Amish. So it was with great expectation that I started reading this novel. And I must say, it certainly isn’t bad, but it is not her best work either. The whole concept of two guys stuck on a deserted island has been done before, so you need a pretty good story to pull that one off. A story that doesn’t contain every cliche you can ever think about in this context… Troy Tanner has it all. He is the singer of a very popular boy band and has the world at his feet. Until one day he finds his brother in his room totally high on cocaine and alcohol, a thing he swore he would never do. So Troy does the only thing he can do, he packs up his stuff and leaves, even if they are in the middle of a tour. He hires a private plain to get him out of the country as soon as possible. Brian Sinclair is a pilot who has been through a lot of trouble. An accident has…

If Only in My Dreams
Bookreview / December 27, 2015

If Only in My Dreams is the latest Christmas themed novel by Keira Andrews, still one of my favorite authors to date. This story was on my list for quite some time, but I didn’t get around to it until recently. And all I can say is what a great story it is. So sweet, so romantic and so totally fitting for this time of year. I love it !! Charlie Yates promised his little sister Ava he would be home for Christmas and he is determined to do anything to make that happen. But when he gets to the airport everything is closed down because of some major snow storm. He decides to rent a car and drive across the country, but someone took the last rental car away just seconds before him. Luckily he knows the guy that rented it, but it is the guy he swore never to lay eyes on again after what happened between them. Gavin Bloomberg was Charlies childhood friend, until something happened between them and he was afraid to admit to the truth. He has been regretting this ever since but never got a chance to make it up again. Until he runs…

Valor on the Move
Bookreview / September 20, 2015

Valor on the Move is the latest novel by Keira Andrews and I swear that Keira has been reading my mind when she wrote this novel. Through out the years I have thought so many times “What would happen if a president had a gay son?” Well I guess we know the answer now…. Rafael Castillo is the son of the current President of The United States. He has been codenamed Valor by the Secret Service. For the last few years he has been doing his best to stay invisible and never stand out. He is gay but he knows his family will never understand. So he has decided to stay under the radar until his fathers term is up and he is free again. But what he never expected to happen was getting assigned a new Secret Service agent who is his walking fantasy man. Shane Kendrick is everything Rafael ever wanted in a man and he knows he can never have. Shane only looks at him because it is his job after all…. Shane has worked very hard to get where he is today and he is very proud of his new position. They told him protecting the…

A Way Home
Bookreview / April 15, 2015

A Way Home is the third and sadly the final part in the Gay Amish Romance series by Keira Andrews. And I for one was dying to read this. The first 2 parts are great and I have read them several times already. The third part is equally great, I absolutely LOVED it. Once I started reading I just could not stop reading, I needed to know how it ended. At the end of part 2 Isaac was forced back to Amish country to be with his sick brother, leaving David behind. Something happened between them and neither one was sure if they would be together again or not. Both gave in to insecurity and fear and their relationship suffered because of it. David is convinced he has to go after Isaac to win him back again, but will it be too late or not? Once again both boys are back in Zebulon with their families. Everyone is trying to get them to come back, repent for their sins and return home. It is the right thing to do and it would make everyone happy again. But Isaac and David want to be together and that can never happen in…

A Clean Break
Bookreview / February 13, 2015

Finally, finally Keira Andrews published the second part in the Gay Amish series about Isaac and David. And OMG what a fantastic book it is !!! As we learned in part 1, Isaac and David are 2 Amish boys who fall in love and because of that decide to escape the Amish community and venture out in the world. At the end of part 1 they make their escape. Part 2 picks up where we left of. Both boys are now living with Isaac’s brother in San Fransisco. They can now be openly gay and love each other. But they also have to learn about the world, modern technology and everything else. Pretty soon Isaac goes to school, makes new friends and seems to be really thriving in the world. But David is feeling more and more guilty about leaving his mother and sisters behind. He is also trying to get his carpentry business running and learning the way of the big city. So even though they are sleeping together every night and they really love each other they must fight real hard not to drift apart forever. And then, in the last few pages something really shocking happens. A…
