House of Cards Season 3
Netflix , TV Show Review / February 28, 2015

Yes, yes, yes. House of Cards returns for another Season. Season 3 premiered on Netflix on February 27, 2015 and what a release it was. Millions of people completely blocked their weekend and did nothing else but sit down and watch tv. As did I… As wel all know, in the end of Season 2, Francis Underwood was named President of the United States. In Season 3 we see him as President, trying to make the best of it. His wife, Claire, seems to have an agenda of her own and wants in on the power. Together they must make the best of the time they have in the office. On February 4, 2014, Netflix announced it had renewed House of Cards for a third season of undisclosed length. On December 1, 2014, Netflix announced that the third season would be available on February 27, 2015. On February 11, 2015, 10 episodes from the third season became accidentally available on Netflix for approximately 25 minutes due to “a bug in the system”; however were quickly removed. I have not yet completed the season, but I am down to only six episodes left. And yes, I am completely hooked again. This third season is just…

House of Cards Season 2
Netflix , TV Show Review / December 31, 2014

Only a few days ago I blogged about House of Cards Season 1 here and just today I finished Season 2. Season 2 is considered to be darker than the first and I have to agree with that. As we know Frank has become the Vice President of the USA, but he won’t stop there. His final goal is to be the President, but for that to happen the current President has to be removed from office, of course without implementing Frank. So we see another season of playing people, breaking promised and doing things close to the thin line that is the law. Once again I have enjoyed this season very much and I can safely say anyone who liked Season 1 can see this one without thinking about it. The complete Season2 premiered on February 14, 2014 and has been praised all over the world as a great show, a must see. The second season of the American television drama series House of Cards began filming a set of 13 episodes on April 29, 2013 and concluded on November 8, occurring primarily in Baltimore. On December 4, 2013, Netflix announced that the season would be released in its entirety on February 14, 2014. Set…

House of Cards Season 1
Netflix , TV Show Review / December 27, 2014

As a recent Netflixer I started by watching the first Season of a show I heard a lot about already. House of Cards (US) is an adaptation of the original BBC miniseries by the same name that aired in 1990 and the novel by Michael Dobbs. It is an American political drama series created especially for the Netflix network and premiered on February 1 2013. The entire first season was placed on line at the same time and contains 13 episodes. It is the story of Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) a Democrat in office in Washington. After he is passed over for an important position, he decides to plan a revenge that will get him in a place of power in the end. He is assisted by his wife Claire Underwood (played by Robin Wright). She is the head of a organization called CWI (Clear Water Initiative). The series is primarily about ruthless pragmatism, manipulation, power, and doing bad things for the greater good. To get where he wants to go Frank doesn’t hold back and is not afraid to hurt or even kill people to get what he wants. He uses everyone and everything, sometimes even without them…
