Bookreview / October 24, 2016

Louder Than Words is part 2 or part 3 in the series, depending on which series you read. Somewhere along the line a very confusing renumbering has taken places and now I am somewhat lost as to which part goes where exactly. Maybe a little more explanation would have been in order. Wild Hunt
Bookreview / August 6, 2015

Wild Hunt is the debut novel by Monica Baker. I was personally asked by the author to review this novel for this blog and I was glad to do so. This novel is heavily set in Norse mythology and deals with gods, giants and dead people. The God Loki fell in love with a mortal woman over 3000 years ago. Then she was killed when his house was raided and he has been begging for her life ever since. Never able to forget this woman, he would do anything to have her back again. Her mother died giving birth to her and she was raised by her uncle, who never loved her, but did provide for her. Loki is allowed to love her again, but she has no idea who she is or where he comes from. She has to give herself to him willingly and out of her own free will before they can be together again. So he protects her…

One day Jorgen comes home and finds a strange boy on the sidewalk in front of his house. The boy has a seizure right there and Jorgen takes him in to take care of him. The boy falls asleep after the seizure and Jorgen has to decide what to do. From his bag he finds the boys name is Geir Berger. Jorgen tries to call Geirs parents but doesn’t reach anyone. When Geir wakes up again, he turns out to be a very sweet and adorable boy and Jorgen falls for him immediately. But Geir is only 16 years old, while Jorgen is 22. And bot boys have a lot of problems of their own they have to get through, before they can be together forever. Geir father isn’t to happy about the new…
