Test Drive – Crossroads #3
Bookreview / August 24, 2016

Test Drive is part 3 in the wonderful Crossroads series by Riley Hart. After reading part 1 and part 2 I knew I had to read this third part as well. In this new part we learn a little more about two of the men in the Crossroads universe, namely Justin Evanson and Drew Sinclair. When Justin learns his father has cancer and he has siblings he never knew he had, he drops everything and moves to be with his father in his final days. Once there he quickly sees a man he can’t get out of his head, Drew. But when he learns Drew is his new found sisters brother-in-law he must determine if he wants to go on or not. Drew never thought he would meet a guy as wonderful as Justin, but there is something about the man he just cannot place. He is drawn to him like nothing ever before, but will he be able to give Drew the support he needs in this time of need? Can this thing between them be real or is  it just a test drive before they are forced to separate. As expected I loved this new part just as much…

Touch the Sky – Free Fall #1
Bookreview / May 1, 2016

I hosted a blogtour for this book earlier and my good friend Dana wrote a review for it, but this time I read the book myself and I need to release my feelings about the book. Because wow, this book really hit a nerve with me. A big part of the book deals with mental problems, and that has always been a special subject for me. I can only imagine what it would be like to deal with these things, but it must be hard. And for someone like that to find love and even maintain a relationship with someone else, it makes me feel warm on the inside. Lucas Barnett and Gabriel Stewart had a rough childhood. Nothing was easy for them and all they had was each other. As children they made promises about love and forever, but in the end none of that happened and Gabriel disappeared without a trace. Life moves on and years later Lucas and Gabriel meet again in a New York bar. The attraction between them is still there in every way, but Lucas is still angry with Gabriel for leaving him like that. Without a trace, a word or anything. Will they…

Touch The Sky
Bookreview / April 17, 2016

Today we are in for a treat everyone, because the sweet and wonderful Dana is back with us again. Once again she wrote a review for me and allowed me to publish it on this blog for you all to read. This time she chose the novel Touch The Sky, which was featured here a few days ago as part of the blog tour for the book. Dana really liked the book and gave it 4 out of 5 stars, so it must be good. Thank you Dana for writing this….. We got this… …was Gabriel and Lucas’ signature tagline for ending their e-mails, when they were troubled teens who met in an online forum, became best friends and told each other everything…even that they thought they were gay. Lucas lived with his alcoholic mother, who struggled to provide for their small family and to stay sober. While Gabriel’s parents were quite well off, his father was violent and not above using his fists to convince his son to see things his way and his mother distant and cold. They were dreaming big together: as soon as they were both 18, they were going to leave home, move to LA…

Shifting Gears – Crossroads #2
Bookreview / March 13, 2016

Shifting Gears is the latest novel by Riley Hart and of course the sequel to Crossroads which I reviewed earlier. This new novel is the story of Rod and Landon, who we already met in the earlier novel but only in a background story. Now we finally learn their story, and I must tell you it is a sweet story. Rod Nelson has recently opened an adult toy store and he is quite happy running the show. There is no room in his life for romance, so all he gets is one night stands. He is used to guys wanting to take him to bed and running away the next morning after they got what they wanted from him. But one day, Landon walks in to the store and he is different than other guys. Rod is sure Landon wants him, so why doesn’t he give in? Landon is new to town and still trying to make friends. Landon never planned to return to this town where so many memories hunt him, but he has no other choice. And the hot guy in the adult store isn’t making things easier for him. There is an instant attraction between both men,…

Return to Blackcreek – Blackcreek #3.5
Bookreview / January 4, 2016

Return to Blackcreek by Riley Hart is a new addition to the Blackcreek series, especially written for the holiday season. In this book we revisit every couple we met before in the series to catch up with their lives again as they are now. Every couple faces a critical decision that could have major impact on their lives and their relations. Will they make the right choice or not? Braden is planning a weekend away for him and Wes. He wants to spend a whole weekend alone with his husband, but that is not the only reason. Braden wants to ask Wes a very important question and he needs the right place to do it. Wes isn’t fooled at all and he knows something is up. But when the question finally comes, what will he do? Gavin is looking forward to working together with Mason at Creekside for the holidays. But soon he realizes he wants more than that and he sets out to give Mason the best surprise he ever had. It takes a lot of work and a lot of time, but in the end the surprise is bigger than they thought possible. Cooper is planning to start…

Cover Reveal: A Hundred Thousand Words
Bookteaser / October 8, 2015

A Hundred Thousand Words is the new novel by Nyrae Dawn, due to come out on November 17 and already up for pre order. Nyrae contacted me personally and wanted to share the cover for this wonderful new book with you first. If the story is as good as the cover, I will be buying this for sure. For those of you who don’t already know Nyrae Dawn is a pen name for the author Riley Hart, who has been published on this blog before. She will tell you why she did this in her own blog post right here.   Blurb: Tobias Jackson grew up in Coburn, a town where the queer population equaled exactly one: him. Add that to the fact that his dream guy was his best friend’s jerky older brother Levi Baxter, and it made hooking up virtually impossible. Now home from college for winter break, Toby is a different person. He left Coburn for San Francisco, where he wasn’t the lone gay guy and the only black kid in town. And yeah, he took advantage of what the city had to offer. Apparently Toby isn’t the only one who’s changed. Levi’s not acting like the…
