11514958We’re Both Straight, Right? is a novel by Jamie Fessenden. What do you do when your best friend proposes to do porn with you on camera for money? And what happens when you start seeing your best friend in a totally different light afterwards? What if you want more than just friendship?

Zack and Larry have been best friends since high school and are now college roommates. Someday Larry finds out that guys are getting paid to have sex on camera. Thinking it will be easy money he wants to do the same. And he asks his best friend Zack to join him, and maybe even do a scene together….

It takes some time for Zack to accept the thought, but finally he agrees. But then Larry proposes to ‘practice’ a few times before the real thing. They start of by only looking at each other during masturbation, but slowly work their way up through a whole list of sexual things to do.

After a few days Zack starts seeing Larry in a completely different light. He might even be falling in love with the guy, but what does he need to do about it? Will Larry feel the same or is it just easy money for him?

Larry has never been comfortable in romantic relationships. He has never been able to keep the same girl for a longer time, so what will happen when he learns about the feelings Zack has for him?

I must say this book pleasantly surprised me. At first I thought it to be another story about two boys fooling around and then falling in love, but it wasn’t like that at all. The story started off a little unstable, but it got better in the end. I really felt for Zack when he discovered his true feelings for Larry and his trouble in expressing them. And if there is one thing you need to take away from this book, it is the following. NEVER fart during sex, it is the most disgusting thing ever.

Special recommendation for the picture on the front, it really captures the mood of the story and I totally see Zack and Larry in it.
