Set Free
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 13, 2015

Set Free is the new novel by author Kelly Collins who has been featured on this blog before. Once again this novel promises to be a hot and sizzling adventure, very highly recommended by me.   AUTHOR:Kelly Collins GENRE:Contemporary romance with an 18+ warning One ex-convict, one detective, one ranch, one hell of a ride.       When twenty-four-year-old Mickey Mercer walked out of the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility she had two things on her mind: the friends she left behind and the rough road ahead.   She had a failing ranch, a rundown home, and an angry ex-boyfriend determined to crush her. That was until a stranger appointed himself her personal savior.   Detective McKinley’s job was to protect and serve. His life was consumed by work until he found Mickey walking down a dusty road. She was a mess and in trouble, and there was nothing sexier than trouble. Mickey was everything he wanted, but nothing he needed. That was the lie he told himself.   Set Free is a story about love, hope, and redemption. Sometimes, people aren’t what they seem. Sometimes, they’re better.       I resigned myself to hoofing it up the road….

Rebound Remedy
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 12, 2015

Rebound Remedy is the new novel by Christine D’Abo and is part of the Riptide 2015 charity titles. This means that whenever you buy this book, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Help Center. I would say, one more reason to buy this great book !! And now I will give this blog over to Christine D’abo to talk about her new book….   Hello, my name is Christine d’Abo! Thank you so much for having me here on the blog today. I’m very honored to have been asked to participate in the 2015 Riptide Holiday charity anthology. The holidays are the perfect time to not only give back to our community, but to raise awareness of the struggles that some of our youth endure. When these teens should be enjoying candy, presents, movies and fun, they’re struggling with their families, friends and their self-images. No one should feel anything but love and support this time of year. This is my small way of helping out, of paying it forward. I want to challenge each of you to do something this holiday season to pay it forward. Volunteer at a local…

Flesh Market – Blogtour
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 10, 2015

Flesh Market is the sizzling new novel by Kate Lowell, part 1 in the new Bodies and Souls series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time…… Special Agent Leo Gale is up a creek. A year and a half of deep cover is about to go up in flames. He needs help – something, someone to salvage the operation and save the lives of untold numbers of trafficked teenagers.

But he isn’t expecting the partner they send, or his own gut-punch of a response to the man. Julian worked hard for that FBI Honors Internship. It’s supposed to be a foot in the door. He’d never expected it to catapult him into the middle of a major undercover operation. Yet here he is, sleeping on a filthy mattress and using every trick in the book to avoid torture–and worse. He’s never felt so scared, or so alive, in his entire life, and he’s not sure if it’s the danger, or Leo, that’s making his heart race. There’s no time to think about it, though. The operation is heating up, and Leo and Julian are running out of time and options. They must find a…

How We Began – The Inspiration
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 9, 2015

How We Began is an anthology with a special meaning. It tells us that love can start in many ways, no matter who you are, where you are or even what you are. The world is full of stories. We watch them in theaters and read them in books. We tell them to our children and hear them at the office. Short stories in three-second sound bites. (Our team won the game last night!) Long, drawn-out stories that are shared over the course of many months. (Did you guys catch the 724th episode of Zombie Valley Girl Meth Head last night?) And then there are the stories we write ourselves, a little more every day. Stories entertain us. Stories teach us. They give us choices. They open us up to the humanity in one another and in ourselves. So what would it be like if you never heard or read a story in which you recognized yourself? Or if you found a glint of familiarity in a newscast or anecdote, only to have the tale end horribly, tragically…no happily ever after for you? How We Began is a book for those people. More specifically, it’s a book for LGBTQ+ young…

A Fortunate Blizzard – Blogtour
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 4, 2015

Blurb A Fortunate Blizzard There are worse things than being stranded in a blizzard. Artist Trevor Morrison has always appreciated the little things in life, treating each day as a gift. And with good reason: he’s been on the transplant-recipient list for too long now. When he learns just how numbered his days truly are, he resolves not to take them for granted. But he won’t be unrealistic, either—which means romantic commitments are off the table. Marcus Roberts seems to have it all. He’s handsome, financially sound, and on the fast track to partnership at a prestigious law firm. In reality, though, his drive for success has meant no time for friends or relationships. Add in the fact that his family discarded him long ago, and he’s facing yet another holiday season alone. When the biggest snowstorm to hit Colorado in decades leaves Marc and Trevor stranded at the same hotel, a chance encounter and a night of passion leads to more than either of them expected. Finding comfort in each other is a welcome surprise, but time is not on their side. Either they find a way to beat the odds, or they lose each other forever. Author Bio…
