Watch Point
Blogtour , Bookteaser / November 8, 2017

Hello! I’m Cecilia Tan, and right now I’m virtually touring my gay Navy SEAL romance, WATCH POINT. At each stop on the tour, leave comments to be entered to win a gay/queer romance prize pack from yours truly, including not only a copy of Watch Point, but a few of my other books (The Prince’s Boy, Magic University) and a Daron’s Guitar Chronicles swag pack with notebook and stickers. About Watch Point Eric Sakai-Johnson joined the Navy SEALs to protect his country and the people he loves. After discharge, he finds himself relegated to protecting big pharma billionaire Aiden Milford from assassination attempts and kidnapping. Until Aiden reneges on a promise, fires Eric, and lets Eric’s mother die with millions of dollars in medical debt. Now Eric is the kidnapper. Snatching Aiden’s twenty-two-year-old son, Chase, for a multi-million-dollar ransom is the only way to get justice. It’s time for Aiden to learn what it’s like when someone you love is at the mercy of forces beyond your control. Eric has it all planned out. The one thing he didn’t plan for is the intense erotic spark between him and Chase. Chase has been chafing under his father’s autocratic control. A…

Bend
Blogtour , Bookteaser / May 11, 2017

About Bend Lorraine Tyler is the only queer person in Bend, Minnesota. Or at least that’s what it feels like when the local church preaches so sternly against homosexuality. Which is why she’s fighting so hard to win the McGerber scholarship—her ticket out of Bend—even though her biggest competition is her twin sister, Becky. And even though she’s got no real hope—not with the scholarship’s morality clause and that one time she kissed the preacher’s daughter. Everything changes when a new girl comes to town. Charity is mysterious, passionate, and—to Lorraine’s delighted surprise—queer too. Now Lorraine may have a chance at freedom and real love. But then Becky disappears, and Lorraine uncovers an old, painful secret that could tear the family apart. They need each other more than ever now, and somehow it’s Lorraine—the sinner, the black sheep—who holds the power to bring them together. But only if she herself can learn to bend. Now available from Riptide Publishing. http://www.riptidepublishing.com/titles/bend About Nancy J. Hedin I grew up in a small town in central Minnesota. That small town sensibility informs my writing and gives me interesting voices in my head and I strive to choose which voice to bring to the…

Why Love Matters
Bookreview / September 12, 2016

Why Love Matters is a new story by one of my all time favorite authors Jay Northcote. I automatically buy whatever she puts out, because I know it will be good. And once again I was not disappointed with this one. Alastair is about to make a very big business deal, but there is only one problem. The deal is with Italians and they prefer much more physical contact than just a simple handshake. And if there is one thing Alastair just cannot stand it is physical contact with anyone else. Martin, his faithful assistant offers the solution to this problem. His mother runs a place with specific workshops to help people with these kind of issues. Will Alastair be brave enough to try? Alastair is not only nervous about the workshop but also about spending the night with Martin in the same room. Because his assistant has been in more of his fantasies than he should be. So when the two men drive up to the estate and enter the workshop, they both might come out very different. I don’t know what it is about Northcote books, but they just get to me every single time. I could totally…
