Everything Changes – Resilient Love #1
Bookreview / April 23, 2016

Everything Changes is the first novel in the Resilient Love series by Melanie Hansen. A friend of mine told me about these books and how much she loved them and that I absolutely had to read them. So of course I started with this first one and I must say she was right. Strong, powerful and romantic novels, exactly the way I like it. Both MC’s in this novel have a past with a lot of problems and difficulties, but must fight to over come this and find love together. I love it !! Carey Everett is a former marine, but after an incident that caused him to lose a leg, he is now a counselor for veterans and their families. Because of what happened to him he was forced to dig deep into his feelings and emotions and find a strength he never thought he had. But now he has managed to find a purpose in his life and he is relatively happy. Jase DeSantis has been in love with Carey for as long as he can remember, but he knows Carey is straight and will never be able to give him what he wants. They are best friends,…

Beyond the Sea
Bookreview / April 4, 2016

Beyond the Sea is the new book by Keira Andrews, and as we all know I love Keira Andrews, especially for her series about the Amish. So it was with great expectation that I started reading this novel. And I must say, it certainly isn’t bad, but it is not her best work either. The whole concept of two guys stuck on a deserted island has been done before, so you need a pretty good story to pull that one off. A story that doesn’t contain every cliche you can ever think about in this context… Troy Tanner has it all. He is the singer of a very popular boy band and has the world at his feet. Until one day he finds his brother in his room totally high on cocaine and alcohol, a thing he swore he would never do. So Troy does the only thing he can do, he packs up his stuff and leaves, even if they are in the middle of a tour. He hires a private plain to get him out of the country as soon as possible. Brian Sinclair is a pilot who has been through a lot of trouble. An accident has…

Just A Game
Bookreview / January 31, 2016

Just A Game is a short story by A.J. Ridges, only 34 pages in size. It’s not a bad story, but at best it can be described as a sexual fantasy written down on paper. Hot, sexy and erotic, but not very memorable. Maybe something for a rainy Sunday afternoon ? Bryan is a straight man, living together with his gay roommate Tim. One day Bryan meets his neighbor Ben in the hall and invites him over to watch the hockey game. He thinks Tim isn’t home and they will have no trouble. But it turns out not only is Tim home, he also has company, male company. Tim and his friend are having wild sex in the other room, while Bryan and Ben are trying to ignore the sounds coming through the wall. Awkward……. But what happens when maybe Ben is not as straight as he claims to be, and when Bryan is starting to have feelings he never thought he would have. And why is Ben looking for excuses to be with Bryan, no matter what he has to do for it? Could there be anything more between them, then they both thought possible? To my knowledge I…

Take Your Pick
Bookreview / January 2, 2016

Take Your Pick by Missy Welsh is one of those books that make me wonder why someone would write this down, let alone publish it for others to read. It is quite simply put someones sexual fantasy in written form. Now I am all for sexual fantasies, but I don’t feel the need to write them down. But I guess when you can get people to pay for it….. Peter Kim is a young Asian student living together with 5 other guys. Peter is gay and in love with all 5 of his roommates. But he has always been afraid to tell them about it, fearing what they might think and say when he does. So one night Peter is home all alone and decides to masturbate to a video of all of them on a vacation trip last summer. But then all of his roommates come home again early and catch him in the act. Peter is embarrassed and hides out in his room. He is convinced they will kick him out of the house. Maybe they can accept him as the only gay in the house, but lusting after all of them? They will never accept that. Or…
