Unquiet – Resilient Love #3
Bookreview / June 8, 2016

Unquiet is the third part in the Resilient Love series. After reading part 1 and part 2, I just knew I had to read this latest part as well. Heartbreaking and very very emotional, but I am so glad I read it. The central element in all three stories is mental health issues. One or both of the MC’s are suffering from some kind of mental illness and need to learn to overcome that in order to find love or just be the one the other party needs. Melanie Hansen manages to do this so wonderfully beautiful, it makes me very emotional to read the stories. Melanie Hansen is high up on my absolute favorite list. In part three we meet Loren Smith and Eliot Devlin. Loren has been in love with Eliot for as long as he can remember, but there has always been something weird about Eliot. And yet Eliot seems to be the only one able to understand Loren and make him feel less lonely. But when Eliot attempts suicide, it leaves Loren devastated and broken. They drift apart and don’t see each other for 9 years. Then, by chance, they meet again. Loren is a police…

Signs of Life – Resilient Love #2
Bookreview / April 25, 2016

Signs of Life is part 2 in the Resilient Love series by Melanie Hansen and this one was also recommended to me by a friend of mine. And I loved it every bit as much as the first one, that I reviewed earlier right here. Signs of Life, just like the first one, deals with great loss, great love and deep emotions, all the ingredients for a perfect story. This one actually made me cry at some points, and that is usually a good sign. Jeremy Speer is everything you would ever want to be. A successful lawyer, happily married to the man of his dreams and living in a fantastic home. What more could anyone want in life? But one day something terrible happens and it leaves him shattered and completely ruined. Will he ever know happiness again? He completely withdraws from life and merely exists instead of fully living Kai Daniels is a high school teacher with his heart in the right place. He has a soft spot for troubled kids and will go out of his way to make them feel worthy of something. There was some trouble in his youth, but he managed to get through…

Everything Changes – Resilient Love #1
Bookreview / April 23, 2016

Everything Changes is the first novel in the Resilient Love series by Melanie Hansen. A friend of mine told me about these books and how much she loved them and that I absolutely had to read them. So of course I started with this first one and I must say she was right. Strong, powerful and romantic novels, exactly the way I like it. Both MC’s in this novel have a past with a lot of problems and difficulties, but must fight to over come this and find love together. I love it !! Carey Everett is a former marine, but after an incident that caused him to lose a leg, he is now a counselor for veterans and their families. Because of what happened to him he was forced to dig deep into his feelings and emotions and find a strength he never thought he had. But now he has managed to find a purpose in his life and he is relatively happy. Jase DeSantis has been in love with Carey for as long as he can remember, but he knows Carey is straight and will never be able to give him what he wants. They are best friends,…
