I Got You is the latest novel by Jamie Lake and is all about finding love in what might be considered a forbidden place. After all, when you fall in love with your stepbrother that might be considered wrong by some people. One night when Jake is out with a friend, he is gay bashed and left for dead on the side of the road. Waking up in the hospital he vows to never let that happen again. But what can he do to defend himself against people that mean him harm? So when his sister suggests taking self defense lessons, he looks into it and accepts. He goes out and finds MMA trainer Benjamin who is willing to train him even if he has no money at all. The more time they spend together, the more they learn about each other and the way they feel about each other. Slowly they are falling in love and opening up their hearts to each other. KAGE is the first part in a trilogy by Maris Black and is all about the world of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). It is an extreme sport where people get really hurt and there is a lot of physical pain. Not a place where you would find love very soon. Or would you? Jamie Atwood is a young journalism student who has a hot cheerleader girlfriend and really plays the part, but never manages to fit in anywhere.
